Family Jewels By Arnaud Lajeunie
Seen as an exercise to beautify various parts of the body, Panconesi launches a special 10-piece collection of sculptural jewelry. Each piece is a composition of signature elements, including materials, techniques, colors and shapes – marking the brand’s next evolution in terms of design, aesthetics and philosophy in jewelry and object making.
Inspired by names found in Greek and Roman mythologies, each living sculpture represents stories of the occult of transformation between the corporeal and the spiritual. Affixed to the neck, the Daphne Necklace is an explosion of shining crystals and vivid hybrid stones, branching out like trees of a forest. The Laurus Headpiece mimics leaves forming into garlands that caress the head and cheeks down to the neck. Symbols and shapes of the Diana Bra are inspired by the Roman Goddess and Huntress Diana, whose primary motifs are the bow and quiver and the crescent moon.
Named after the beautiful Greek god and hunter, the Narcissus Belt is a poetic reminder of the myth where a flower sprouts in place of Narcissus’ death. The belt is made with white crystals, resembling a bouquet of flowers.

Representing the Lyre of Orpheus, the Lyra Ear Necklace is made from a string of white crystals that drape from one ear to the other, decorating the ears and neck with sounds of the ancient lyre.

In Greek mythology, the naiad is a type of female spirit who preside over fountains, springs and wells. The Naiad Cascade Earrings are made with 1.5-meter-long beads and white crystals that shine and reflect the light to look like water dripping from rocks.

The Adamant Body Chain follows the ancient story of diamonds. Like Prometheus’ chains, Adamant is impossible to break – representing the unconquerable and the untamable. Made with 18K gold and 925 sterling silver vermeil, the chains are dotted with white crystals and draped across the chest and torso.
True to Panconesi’s whimsical approach to design and inspired by the classical Greek athlete, the Kynodesme Belt adorns the genitalia with white crystals and semi-precious stones.

Influenced by Marco Panconesi’s familial roots in Florence and the Florentine Medici architecture, the collection is a radical interpretation of body ornamentation of the renaissance and of Greek and Roman mythologies in present day. The Family Jewels “Gioielli di Famiglia” collection and campaign is shot in the French Alps by Arnaud Lajeunie and still life photography by Romain Roucoules.
